making intake coupler fit

I have a 2.25" intake pipe that has to connect to a 2.5". I have a 2.5" coupler. How can I make this work? Like what can be put around the smaller intake pipe to bring it to seal? I'm looking to do this without having to get a reducer because I'm out of money and its expensive for a 2.5" to 2.25" 90* reducer

Jimmy rig it. If you have both a 2.25 and a 2.5 coupler put a peice of pipe inside the 2.25 one and connect them using a clamp. I would not suggest this to be long term or even short term.

You can always microwave it so it will be stretchy.

I like the pipe idea for a temporary fix. What type would you recommend?
