Can someone please explain the "making an outline and stroking it with the airbrush"?? That part just confuses me but the rest is cake..Thanks!

Use the plain pen, and when you're happy with the general shape of your line or whatnot, right click, and select stroke. I would go to the brush before hand and setup your stroke... I used a 2px thickness myself.

Here are my results:

Ive been fiddling with this and heres the problem Im having. I will outline part of the car with the pen tool and then when I try to stoke I get a message saying "Can not stroke the layer because there is nothing to stroke." Any ideas what I need to do?

Alright, I finally figured that out now. My next problem is that even with my stroke size on 1 pixel it seems to be really wide. Is there another number that I need to play with to get it nice and thin?

I was using 2px on mine and it came out good... I started with a 1280x1024 image (approx) and then sized it down afterwards to whatever size I wanted.... what size are you working with to start? I'm thinking that might be the problem. Either that or you've changed the wrong px size... I think there are a few others very similar to it.

I wish the link in the first post still worked so I knew what I have to do next. As you can see I have the outline, but how do I get the color on to it from the BG?

That link is working.. .i just tried it!

Part 2: Shade

1. On a new layer, make a body base
2. On a new layer, make body shadows. Use the pen tool and fill the path.
3. On a new layer, make body highlights
4. You should have something like this. Notice I decided to make the panel between the taillights match the paint like the RPS13.
5. Do similarly for glass, tires, wheels, muffler, lights, all on new layers
6. On a new layer, blacken everything that will always be black

That is the second page in case you can't get it to work!

One last problem. I finished my first one, but it wont let me save as a jpeg so I can get it to Imagestation. It will only let me save as .PSD, .PDD and nothing else. Imagestation only accepts JPEG, so Im not sure what to do. Can anyone help?

when you save it, the part under where you type in the filename is a drop down box with a bunch of different filetypes to save your picture as, just click on it and pick what you want to save it as

I know I already talked to you, but this it for maybe someone else that can help...

When I click that bottom on the save as screen I get no options to change the file. I can only choose psd, pdd.

I did open aother pic and did a quick edit on it and clicked save as and it worked. So now I have no idea why just this pic(that took me ~4 hours to make) wont save as anything but psd.

Ok, I got it. I had to flatten it and I didnt know that. After I flattened it I was able to save as any file I wanted.

Well, here it is.. Keep in mind its my first one..
