ok here it goes i just bought another 90 awd talon and when i bought it the guy sold it to me with an idle surge only paid 800 for the car so got a decent deal.. drove it all the way back home bout 25 miles with the maf unplugged ran smooth with idle surge wouldnt go over 3k but now im experiencing some major vacuum issues

the car does not idle up when cold start stays around 500-1000 gotta feather the throttle to warm the car up?? noticed that my boost gauge is reading -20 on vacuum meaning basically no vacuum:hmm:.it will not stay running for long till i gotta give it gas:confused:.mods are small 16g,3 in exhaust,k&n filter.

guy said that he replaced that maf like 4 times and put a new ecu in which he showed a reciept for that.no boost leaks that ive found i just put the turbo in last night all stock piping does anyone have a diagram that show all the vacuum lines hooked up cause maybe i put the wrong lines in the wrong spot on the throttle body:confused:..please help car is stuck at my freinds gotta get it outta there

thanks for the fast reply ill have to check that stuff out

were should my vacuum be at idle??

i thought pcv could be the issue think i might go out today and spray the motor and see if i see any vacuum leaks show up..anything else i should look for??

Your vacuum can change depending on elevation, up to 1in.hg per 1000ft. So comparing it with others is only relevant if they are the same elevation as you. This is not taking into account modifications or wear obviously.

I believe 18in. Is the average.

I also recommend a US plastics check valve to run inline with your pcv because chances are yours leaks, I have seen even brand new ones leak.

ok so im a check all my vacuum hoses and planning on running an egr block off plate to clean up my vacuum lines since i live in kanasas i dont gotta do any kind of inspections .. my car is 100% factory like nothing has ever been deleted still even had the plastic cover on the bov when i got it. with 142k on the miles.(THROWING A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT how do i get codes??).its just so hard to keep it running cause it drops under 600 and just wants to shut off gotta keep givin it gas for it to stay running
