Those places are as central as you can get to both areas and are big enough towns/cities to be able to find a nice big parking lot. Be careful though guys, you'll need to police yourselves really well to keep the cops from showing up - I'd suggest going in and talking with the shop owners in the location you choose to make sure they're good with it. The best bet would be to try and get a local shop of some type in one of those areas to give you the okay to use the parking lot.

just a suggestion but I think Vallejo would be a good choice as well. its 30 mins away from SF, 1 hr away from Sac, San Jose, Stockton & Tracy. so basically its pretty much in the middle. also, I can host the meet if its ok. I have a pretty big parking lot (I can fit 14-20 cars) and plenty of off-street parking.

plus, you guys can see Gixxer_Drews time attack Eclipse :sneaky:

I think it would be really cool to be able to get a big meet going. And V-town does seem to be in the middle for everyone. And we have a location! ;):thumb:

How are the Law Enforcement in that area regarding modded cars?

I think this is a great idea. Vallejo is somewhat central and to have a shop hosting the location would be nice as well.

I think any law enforcement in the Bay is going to be intolerant. As long as nobody acts like a jackass, it should be fine.

kool, well the cops out here are ok. they dont have a problem w/ modded cars as long as your not doing anything stupid. also, my shop's location is pretty much near the freeway exit (about 1.5 miles to be exact) also I can host a BBQ here at the shop since I have a pretty big BBQ grill.


anywayz, we need to figure out a good date for the meet.

alright!! a dsm meet in vallejo!! finally!! haha!! did u guys know that there is a meet here every tues at starbucks in front of the target? it started only for subies, now a lot of people are showing up with diff cars.
 
Would be cool to come check this out. I totally agree with Ludacris on this one. As long as you dont attract attention like people acting like a**es in the parking lot showing off it would be nice.
 
I'm down with San Jose meet.
Vallejo and Oakland is 3 hrs driving.
Los Altos or Saratoga area would be a nice meet there, i would say...

yup, I get to Los Gatos in 1 hr. flat from Vallejo. and thats taking it easy on the gas. maybe 1 hr and 20 mins if theres traffic.

or throw a huge meat at Treasure Island. but then again, no shop to support and no BBQ for the peepz. also, it'll be more farther for the Sac & far north bay crew.

OR have 2 meats, one for the South Bay guys, then one for the North Bay, East Bay and Sac guys.

damn if only my car had insurance its still in the process. umm id say Vallejo just because im in sac. haha. i can get my brother to drive my car there. i am only 15 haha.
