The thing is San Jose is a pretty long drive for the Sac guys. And we haven't had many Bay Area/Sac meets. So it would be cool if it would be somewhere in between like V-town so the Sac guys can come out.

Yep let us know and I can post it on our board over at (sacramento-dsm.com) might be able to get some dsms to caravan from sac over there so pick the date time and address so it can happen. Defiant only lives a few miles from me maybe we can get him to travel with us...I said Maybe

Neon actually has a Dodge/Chrysler engine in it, and is not a DSM at all, but DSMers are very welcoming.

What's the engine code for the SRT4 engine? I wonder if it might be related to newer Mitsu engines somehow?

The engine code is A853 I think, that may be the turbo'd PT Cruiser's code though, although the engine is almost identical if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure it's also not related to the newer Mitsu engines in any way shape or form.

Of what i understand its mitsu designed but daimler chrysler badged....very torquee engine btw. I know as a fact the while turbo system is mitsubishi....i'd say it counts somewhat

Honestly I don't see how a meet in San Jose will work out for the Sac guys. Thats way to long of a drive for them. Instead of having it all the way in the corner of the Bay Area why not make it central such as Vallejo or somewhere in the middle so the Sac guys can come out to the meet? Just because many of you San Jo guys don't want to drive doesn't mean you have to make the Sac guys drive that far, if it does end up there.

I'm neither from Sac or Vallejo, but I feel everyone should do about the equal amount of driving if we want Sac and the Bay together. And Sac/Bay meet don't happen very often.

Think of it this way, if the Sac guys said they were gonna have a meet in Sac would you San Jose guys drive all the way out there? I don't think many of you would. So same concept.

this is so true like for example, when we do our Supra meats we always do meet up somewhere in the middle. plus, we all like to do a caravan and do freeway runs or mountain runs afterwards
