major electrical issue

so i was driving down the road and hit a bump and messed up the positive terminal post and it started to short out the battery terminal??????now i cant get my car started and the door siren thingy sounds really weird... then when i hooked up a battery charger it reversed the power and fried it... so i am reallly stumped....i have the choice of either tracing the wires and fix it(i've had alot of electrical issues) or i can take my parts car and do a manual swap(how hard is it going to be and does anyone have a step by step???) i really really need some feedback

Try checking all your fuses. And for the manual swap, type it into the search function.

have you tried changing batteries ? or terminal posts?

i put a new battery in it buy it was dead and i think the charger was going out anyway but i am charging the battery and then i'm gonna try again but i still wanna do the swap cause the other car's body is better unless i can find a awd cause i lost to a twin turbo duramax cause i spun the tires too much
