Main Girgdle Question

I plan on picking up a 6 bolt block with crank and both are used. I'm going to be doing a full rebuild. I also have a 7 bolt at home that had rod knock. From what I have been readinging is that the 6 bolt doesn't have a girdle for the mains. Will the 7 bolt girdle bolt up fine or are the holes not aligned? If not, then I suppose I'll be going with Kiggley . Also, will the 7 bolt oil pan match up to the 6 bolt as well?

The 6 bolt in my talon has the siamised main cap saddles that hold the pairs together. Looks like two handles. I know the pan is different too for 7blt. Tres...
