Im doing a mild turbo build for a 420a. Right mow im just trying to build the motor and have a
question about arp main studs. My stock ones have about 150k on them and they
Have normal wear and tear, but they still look great. Should i go ahead and
Replace them with the arp's? Im going for 300-400hp with hahn 20g 12psi or
Do you think they would be fine?

Excuze any typos posting this on my phone

The stock head bolts are torque to yield and are meant to be used only once because they stretch when torqued down, ARP would be the best way to go if you are boosting.

Was hoping someone would say that...yes, they are torque to yield and you should absolutely never reuse them, especially with 150,000 miles on them. If you tried to torque them back to spec, they would likely stretch, twist, or even break (not common, but its happened).

I'm confused here. Are you asking about main studs or head studs? Your title says one then the op says another.

yes ARP main studs are reusable, I wouldn't reuse the stock main studs either, ARP is the best was to go for head or main studs.
