Main fan wont turn on

ok so i finaly fixed my electrical problem from putting my batt in wrong. i took the car for a spin and my temp guage is reading normal. i bring it back to the shop and my fan wont turn on and my brand new manifold is heating up cherry red i think that could be my cat tho. I also noticed the the 2 wires that go to the temp sensor the one isant hooked up could that be why my fan isant turning on?

Splice the wire back up, check fuses, and the relay and see where youre at.

Hey just to be safe check around your turbo and maf. I had a leak behind the maf a caused me to run lean and my manfold glow red. So just to be safe check it.

The passenger side fan on a 1G is controlled by the thermoswitch in the bottom of the radiator that switches the radiator fan relay on and off. The drivers side fan is the condensor fan and part of the AC system.

I had this exact same problem and it ended up being a blown fuse. I'd check there first.
