Main bearing oil clearance is..?
My haynes specifies: .0008 to .0016 inches with a max of .004.
I can't find my shop manual cd at the moment.

He said the clearance was .008" and several people said good, because that is extremely tight. but .008" > .004" by .004" so that is huge.. Maybe a typo and no one caught on.?
What is the actual bearing clearance. .0008" to .0016" correct.?
