First off, yes i've searched, but I just want to make sure what i found is correct.
The main bolts should be torqued down to 18 ft/lbs and then an additional 90-100 degress... correct?

Have any of you torqued them down to say 25? 40? 60+?

It's not that i don't have faith in my manual; It's just that it torque my axle nuts on my bike tighter than that... so im just making sure.

Could i torque them down to say 30-50 ft/lbs and still be fine?

Thanks,
Tanner

I would follow the manual if I was you; I did when rebuilding my motor. Torque is generally more about sequencing than ft/lbs.

On the main caps, I did 18 ft/lbs and 90 degrees.
