I have a 97 eclipse gs that has a spun main bearing is there any better ways to replace that besides pulling thhe whole motor? And would it make more sence to just redo the lower end of the car while i have it all apart?

You spun a main? Not a rod bearing????

If the main spun, get a new block, it should work out cheaper than having the block line bored/honed.
