My month old 3" exhaust suddenly became loud. It ha a resonator and a big oval Magnaflow muffler which was very quiet. Noticed yesterday it wassuddenly much louder. I did find 2 small leaks on he welds of the resonator. Not that big though. Anyone else have this happen? Perhaps I blew out the resonator as the Magnaflow seemed well built with perforated steel construction inside. Opinions/similar experience? Thanks,Mark

you probably blew out the packing in the resonator. it happens, thats just the way it is.

That's what I'm thinking though I don't know exactly what that means. Did fiberglass actually pass through them muffler and out. Sounds like a digestive tract problem!! Or burn out? The small leaks could not be the cause since the noise is so loud. Maybe I will replace the resonator with something else that will last. Thanks, mark
