VRS exhaust/Magnaflow

Does VRS use magnaflow mufflers for DSM catbacks? Since my exhaust was bought from ebay, the canister is burned out and its very loud, so i figured since the piping is still good ill just change the muffler. I like how vrs,thermal r&d and greddy have the slanted tip on their mufflers, so i figured i get one of those mufflers.

vrs uses magnaflow mufflers i have one on my 2g i love the way it sounds compared to my megan racing on my 1g

Do you know if its a street series or race one?

What you mean what would be the difference? There is a reason why magnaflow has two different series, some people may prefer street series because of the noise level, and some prefer race series because of the straight through flow.

I just got done replacing the can muffler on my XSPower axleback with a Magnaflow 12198 twin-tip (straight-through). It's noticeably quieter than the "fart can", but it's still much louder than stock. I think so, but I had the fart can on for a few weeks and stock exhaust before that, so I don't have a lot to compare to. It's a bit droney between 2500 and 3000rpm, but it's not as bad as the fart can.
