i'm looking for an exhaust system for my 93 talon tsi awd. i've heard good things about the vrs exhaust systems, just wanna know what others on here think about it. from the pictures i see, it comes with an o2 housing too. and theres no cat or resonators on it which is exactly what i want. does it have a hole for the second o2 sensor? any feedback on it would be awesome, im ordering it from SBR. thanks

I can give you my impression from a 1g unit. It's a descent exhaust. I got the 2.5" turbo back with o2 eliminator. Sounded descent from inside the car. Outside sounded like ass off boost. I would suggest not getting the o2 eliminator version. The problem i had with that was the 1 bolt on the 3 bolt flange stuck directly into where the oil filter sat. So far tht i couldn't put my filter on. I had to get a relocation kit to make it all work. If the flange had just been rotated 45 degrees before being welded it probably would have been fine. I recommend just the turbo back and then pic up a tubular o2 housing else where. http://www.122performance.com has some pretty descent peices for pretty good prices.

I have a full 2.5in turbo back, without the O2 elim option. Since the car runs, but doesn't move right now, all I can tell you is that there is a 2nd bung for an O2 sensor, and you can get a downpipe with a two bolt flange. I ordered a cat along with the exhaust (test pipe is standard I believe) and the O2-Downpipe, downpipe-cat/test pipe, and cat/testpipe to catback are all standard two bolt flanges. There were no installation issures otherwise, it fit all the stock hangers on my car. Good luck.

I ordered straight from VRS, so I couldn't tell you how long SBR would take. It wasnt that long from VRS, and it would probably be even shorter from slowboy, assuming they have it in stock.

i don't have a 2g, how many o2 sensors are run on the 1g exhaust systems? and does the vrs turbo back eliminate any?

The vrs o2 housing is a very poor design. The wastegate passage merges at a horrible angle. It could lead to some pretty bad boost creep.

Actually mine did lead to a nasty case of boost creep on the stock turbo. But alot of people have that problem when switch to a free flowing exhaust. It wasn't anything alittle porting couldn't fix.
