So the first thing I did was search for more threads about this topic. I have a 98GS with 6-Bolt GST swap. Basically I don't really understand much about the MAFT or tuning in general. If someone could please help me out it would be much appreciated. I bought the car with a tune. Basically my father and and I replaced the head gasket and it wouldn't run at all. My dad had a mechanic come over and he messed with the translator. So I have all the instructions and an AEM wideband. If somebody could explain to me what I need to do to make my car run decent again. I know its running very rich. What do I need to do to? Thank you in advanced!

Alright, I have a 16g, full 3in exhaust, the block is bored out, forged pistons, the head is port and polished with oversized valves, fmic, hks blow off valve, stock boost (10psi), GM MAF with translator, and i think they are 550s.

Did you read the manual for your maft fullthrottletech.com
do you have a logger you need more than maft to tune the car with link can
be ran with the maft if your curious.

Meh, for what you are setup for, I am pretty sure you don't need a logger. 10# with 550s...

Going with the basis that you are running maft ver 2.0+
Mode 1, 2 switches need to be placed.
off, off 3" gm maf
on, off 3.5" gm maf
off, on 85mm maf
on, on extreme maf

Since you have a 98 dsm with 550 injectors
Aux knob to "4" and base knob to "c"
as per chart

After that you can fine adjust. You may have to play with the base knob to get it close though, not all injectors are made the same or flow the same.

Good Luck.
