This may be a totally pointless setup but it's what I have so just hear me out.

My ecu is chipped for injector compensation, I'm running an safc2 and also a gm maf with the translator. I have never tuned with the translator and have no clue how to use it even .. but I am very familiar with the safc. My tuning should be very close as it is do the the chipped ecu ... but can I just totally "zero" out the translator and just leave it alone and just use the safc to fine tune? How would I need to set the maft to get it to be "zeroed" out? Basically the only reason I got the maft is because I plan on making well over 400 hp and I wanted to vent my blow off valve. ( the ricer in me? )

I was also just planning ahead because I know eventually I would have outflown the sotck MAS and I was getting new intercooler pipes made so I figured why not make them for the gm maf now and just run that so I won't have to switch them up again later ... will it work to just use the safc for tuning and leave the translator alone? How do I need to set the translator to do this?

Thanks!

When you say Chipped ECU what chip is it, and what are some of the codes it has on it? Like is it programmed for bigger injectors, or 2G mas or the GM mas?? some of those answers may help people/me to tell you how to set the GM Translator.

chipped at dsmchips.com. I got the injector compensation, raised idle, stutterbox, shift light, octane reset, ac cutout and convert the stock boost guage to a knock guage. Thanks.
