Im having a issue with the maf-t and what settings to put it all on. The car will start up just fine but barley will cruise at all and forget about boost it just wont do it. i think i have it set up correct but im unsure and cant really find a for sure answer. also the car is auto and now it down sifts really violent since i installed this setup.

My car and mods
92 auto awd
Fmic , 16g , 190 fuel pump, stock 450s, stock ecu, exhuast , i have a wideband on the car i just got to run it to the front, 02 sensor is taken out of the car,

I found a real good deal on the maf and translator its a 3 inch gm maf and i believe its a 2.02 model ( cover has no sticker any help on that as well would be great) the translator had a 2g plug on it so i just wired in a transistor plug like i was going to do a 2g maf swap and i plugged it in. I wired the white wire to the white wire on the transistor harness.

my link will be here is alittle over a week but for now i would at least like a smooth cruise till i can get the link in the car . so any help with settings would be great.

Edited!

Lets try this again.
Change your settings with the car OFF to this.
Aux =4 Base =2 Then see what it runs like. Because you are wired for a 2g MAS I'm not sure whether you're going to want 2g settings or 1G settings. It's going to be trial and error for you.

Ok but question there I a maf base and a spark base this is what using get it's maf base and wot and spark base and wot what are these suspose I be . And if it helps LOL my cars a 92 1g auto awd but the entire motor is a 7bolt 2g idk why someone put that in it but it is LOL

Use the MAF base. It should be the dial furthest to the left. On the inside of your 'lid' there should also be a key showing what is what.

As long as you have that wire hooked up, reset the 3 knobs on the right to 0. Most cars (including mine) run perfectly fine with no extra adjustments.

ok so your saying run the setting i got in the pic above? it runs like ass LOL . semi runs ok but any kind of boost atempt it falls on its face and make the car down sift crazy hard for some reason

Did you already try Aux=4 Base=2? Is your car running a 1g or 2g ecu?

Also you might want to try and move the maf selector to 3.5", my car would run much better like this than when in 3", and I also heard that from another member here.

Just like TurboLaserRS said, its gonna be trial and error until you find a good setting. Its pretty much headaches and stress with that thing at first, took me like 8 pulls and 2 days of just moving the settings around till I got my car idling and boosting at its best. Goodluck, and have fun opening that hood like 1000 times just to move a knob haha

Late 92's on got the 7 bolt. The 7 bolt engine is not exclusive to the 2Gs. a lot of (if not most) 1G's had them.

i know what a 7 bolt 1g is LOL but this is 100% a 2g 7 bolt motor in my car LOL . i dont know why anyone would do that buy they did. My dsm link came early so i shouldnt really have to deal with these dials anymore. Dont i just 0 them all out now ?
