MAF-T Fuel Mileage

Hello, i have a 1990 tsi awd, and when i bought it, the owner said he had a MAF-T in it. Cool i thought. AFter awhile of driving it, it started to idle pretty rough, and goes through fuel like crazy! Any idea's? Would i need to buy a SAFC and a wideband to tune using this?

You need a wideband and a logger to tune it. The MAFT basically has an SAFC built in. Your best option is to sell the MAFT setup and run dsmlink.

If you don't have bigger injectors i would verify the adjusters are set to zero. i would also get at least a wideband to verify afr's.
