how much better is the 2nd version of the maf translator than the first? would it be worth it for me to get the newer one if that's the only form of tuning i plan to have?
 
or you cold use a GM translater....its good for tuning but it can also handel using a BOV verses using the old school MAF that most of us have....check into it
 
The use of a 2G translator would be a good way to go its good for (i think) 350-400 HP...however there is another rout.
Look into a GM translator, you could do much more, bit its more to use hoever. check it out
 
we're talking about the maf-t where you open it up and turn the knobs compared to the maf-t genII where there is a screen and buttons on the outside right?
 
no the maf-t pro measures air density and it's a whole different set-up. they sell two different ones with screens and 3 maf-t's all together.
