maf sensor

When i start my car with out the maf sensor plugged in, the car runs very poorly (which is no suprise to most). i was just wondering.... Is there a way to completely remove the mas sensor ?? thanks

short answer -- no

You can remove it yes, if you replace it with say a GM maf and translator in a blow through set up.

Or you can use a VPC and do away with the maf completely.
