st-aubert,
*before i go any further,id really appreciate if you could answer as many question as possible IN this topic to avoid multiple thread from the same user(me)*

i installed a FMIC,boost gauge and controller
My BOV is venting to the atmosphere(we'll talk about this later)

main problems are: rpm is not stable at idle, and when i floor it,the rpm blocks somewhere between 3k and 5k rpm(depending on gear)3 questions:

1.where do i sent the air from my bov to?intake manfold?
2.if i get a 2gen mass air flow will it fit and fix my rpm problem?
3.if i get bigger injector a.k.a 550cc do i have to get my ecu ''reprogrammed''?

thanks alot i may have some trouble with my dsm but i think investing time and money is worth it :hellyeah:

1. You send the air from the BOV back into the intake tract.
2. Your issues may be do to not recirculating metered air. If you plan on venting to atmosphere, you should look into a GM MAF/Translator placed after your BOV if you plan to VTA. You should also perform a boost leak test since you replaced your intercooler as a boost leak make cause you to hit fuel cut and also cause idle issues.
3. Yes, you will need to tune for the 550cc injectors.

Hope that helps you out some.

i do not want to vent to atmos.i can easily make a pipe to send it back to the intake
and no,there is no boost leak i asked my mechanic(which is also a known good tuner around here)to look at it.he said it may be caused by my BOV venting to atmos or my maf, maybe both?

if i get a 2gen maf can it fix this?

Before changing your MAF, I'd run a pipe from the BOV to the intake pipe. I've had all sorts of issues when I temporarily vented to the atmosphere. Changing your MAF to a 2G MAF won't change any of your issues if you don't feed the BOV to the Intake.
