Hi.. I have a 91 tsi with very low compression right now (around 100psi in piston 3 and 4), and figured I have to rebuild teh bottom end.
I just recently acquired a shortblock, and plan to put in 2g pistons with the 1g rod. I want to get it 0.020 overbored with 2g pistons actually.
Who knows of a good machine shop or any machine shop that can do this for me and assemble the block for me and how much should I be looking at?
I would actually prefer a machine shop that's dealt with DSM's before, because I would like them to do the Balance shaft removal too.
