with a wide ban and lb injectors what should the wide ban read if running properly . is it the higher the number the richer or is it the lower the richer . my wide ban reads 14.28 at idle then shoots to 16 at boost (11 psi) . on another note the big black box on the lower part of the back of the intake what is its purpose ?

To ensure that your wideband is functioning correctly you must have no exhaust leaks before the sensor.

Higher is leaner, lower is richer. It is a Air:Fuel ratio. A reading of 14 would be 14 parts air to 1 part fuel.

At idle you would ideally want your wideband to read stoichiometric levels, about 14.7.

At boost on pump gas most people shoot for around ~11. 16 is way too lean.

That's your MAS aka mass airflow sensor.

at 16 to 1 a/f you ar getting to a piston melting point you want really close to 11:1 to 11.5:1 with no knock just to be safe you are gonna need a biit more fuel before you do anything else

OP has no MAF/MAS.

SFMU is a regulator with an adjustable base pressure and rate of gain.

On the bottom side of the intake manifold? A vacuum reservoir for the cruise control.
