LSD for Auto FWD?

hey guys,
I've searched around but was unable to locate any actual info...I'm looking to get either an auto GS or an auto GST but I know in order to gain traction i'll need a few things. I don't need an "AWD is better' comment...I know my options, I've had auto, fwd, and rwd cars. At this point, due to weight and availability is why I'm looking at the Auto FWD models (turbo or non)...are there LSDs avail for either of these transmissions? If not, does anyone have any experience with welded front diffs on these cars? I've had RWD, but I imagine it'll be a pain on FWD, I just didn't know if it was like a no powersteering type pain or worse. Thanks in advance to all who help!

Yes, LSDs are widely available for both if you're looking at 2gs. They are also widely available for 1g turbo cars. I cannot vouch for 1g NT cars but I suspect they would accept the same differential as 1g turbo cars.

1g GS models have a Mitsubishi motor and transmission, 4g63 motor with f4a22 transmission.

1g turbo models have a 4g63t with f4a33.

2g GS models have a Chrysler 420a motor and I'm unsure of their transmission designation but it is a Chrysler transmission and is the same as what is in many Neons.

2g turbo models again have the 4g63t and f4a33.

For the record awd models have a w4a33. W stand for awd, F stand for fwd, 4 stand for number of gears, a/m stands for automatic/manual. The second to last number is the torque handling capacity (unitless) and the last number is the revision.
