Lower Timing Cover

I have a 1G 91 Laser w/ the 4g63T. After overhauling the head and getting everything put back together. When I started it up. The pulleys and what not were grinding at the cover. The most likely cause is that it is broke and warped. What I need to know is, does it matter what Generation of DSM I get a used one off of? Would the 4g63 differ from say a
4g63t? Help me with this conundrum.

your talking about the timing belt cover,correct? I think the turbos have the same cover.

You have to stay with the style block you have if its a 6 bolt block it has to be 6 bolt t-b cover and if its a 7bolt block its needs to be a 7 bolt t-b cover. Brand new they are around 89$ CAD

Yes turbo engines have the same timing belt covers.

You need a 1g 6 bolt timing cover...

all top covers are the same but the lowers are diff from 1g to 2g.
