lower control arm question

Hi, i bought a new lower control arm from ebay (oem part) and the joint seems to be stuck. I have bought the rear ones from the dealer and the joints move around.

Should the joint (circled) not move at all?

The recall was already done by the previous owner but the lateral arm failed again.

It should have SOME movement but very little. Can you move it at all?

nope, not at all. its just stuck

yes it should move.. balll joints are made to move.

You shouldnt be able to move it by hand easily, they are very stiff but they will move.

Brand new joints will be hard to move.
