Hey Just this past weekend I was driving and my passanger side control arm gave out:notgood:. The ball came right out of the join and the axel boot ripped off (not to mention my car dropped and my bumper cracked). Luckily I was only pulling out of a parking spot so It could have been much worse. Anyone else have this problem with their eclipse? (95-99). I know there was a re-call on something with a control arm but I'm not 100% sure (102k miles on the car)

Call them and ask if the recall has been performed on your car yet. They can give you the information you need to get the ball rolling.

gave them a call, only they can perform the repair. Too late I already fixed it (wasn't going to be without a car all week). Told me its too late for the re-call now, so I will be filing in small claims court for the damage done to the front end (when the car dropped the radiator broke and everything, I took tons of pictures and a few videos inspecting the damage and the Ford Asset Program at Suny Morrisville wrote up a complete inspection of the damage and evaluated it).
