low throttle tuning

I run 118 octane about 90% of the time, so my o2 sensors dont last very long at all. How do you guys tune for part throttle. I have a wideband so is there any way I can bypass the stock o2 sensor and just tune with the wideband?

the only question i have is why you run 118 octane fuel? i always thought that 118 octane was for engines exceeding a compression ratio of 16:1, i guess there are a few ways to change a compression ratio such as re-machining the piston or buying new ones with a larger dish.. but that isnt going to double your cr..

When a small turbo, like the 14b, is at 22 psi the air intake temps get very hot making the engine more prone to detonation. 118 makes it much more less of a chance for the knock sensor to pick up the knock. When that happens I loose a lot of timing, which is in reason why I use 118 octane.

Is the 118 leaded.... if so your gonna ruin your wide band sensor also! If it AV gas, your car is running like crap anyway. AV gas is formulated for altitudes like 8000ft to 30,0000ft. It has all kinds of crap in it like additives for oxygenation(garbage as an altitude additive), and anti-freezing agents. (if it is not AV gas and is a real fuel like VP; I withdrawl my previous statement about your car running like crap. As far as the wideband sensor replacing the stock O2 sensors,,,Cant happen unless you have a stand alone computer system reading it. Your wideband most likely is an independent tuning tool.

I only use vp. And yes I do live at a very high elevation. As far as my wideband goes it is only in the car for the period of time that I am tuning the car and for the rest of the time the hole for the sensor is plugged. My only question is how do you guys tune part throttle if you have a bad o2 sensor.
