Low end power help please!!!

hi there...
i just want to know what is the best option to get some low end power, especially in the first gear. MY CAR IS NOT FOR RACING... ITS A DAILY DRIVER. i just want to add some more power in the low end for better pick up. what do u guys think will be good. i already have a CAI, apex N1 cat back, high flow cat, obx header. i will be adding UDP in the future and also i am planning to buy the AFX ecu. but i want to know what u guys think will give good low end power. thanks

well if you have a 4-1 type header you might have noticed that you lost a little low end,least i did.the udp will definatly give you better accelaration throughout the whole powerband.sa far as the afx ecu i couldn't tell you cuz my car is a 95 not a 97

thanks i just bought this car.. actually traded my 95 gsx for this car with a blown tranny... and this 97 nt came with all these stuffs.. so i dunno wat header i got too

you traded a gsx for a n/t!!!I think thats a sin.you need to go to church and confess..well just look at the header and if the 4 exhaust pipes go to the dp directly then it's 4-1,but if the 4 pipes go to 2 pipes then to the Dp directly the you have a 4-2-1. peace.

thanks.. as i said before.. my 95gsx had a blown tranny and i dint have enough money to maintain the car (poor college student) so i traded it.. i love eclipse even though it gives me problems.. want to stay with mitsubishi though

Well, all that exhaust crap is definetly hurting your low end. Returning all that to stock would revive that low end and probably increase your gas mileage as well.

I read an article once which said that "exhaust crap" will, beleive it or not, improve gas mileage (especially city). Think about it, with the header --> to the exhaust sure air is leaving the engine faster. SO when you are sitting at a light, your idle will be lower. I don't remember all the facts but it will also make you want to rev your car more soooooo thats why would get lower gas mileage.
