Best header for N/T low end power?

I already have a CAI and GReddy SP catback. My low end power seems to have gone down a bit. What specfic kind of header will compensate for that power loss?

If anything, header would make you lose more low end, they're designed to open up top end performance, while stock parts give you more daily drivability.

So I guess that eBay SSSAutotrim or whatever header is bull. It states more low end torgue and up to 20 hp if I recall correctly.

Depending on what header you buy, this will affect where the gain is. Headers don't take away low end if they're of the 4-2-1 variety. Anything that tunes the exhaust and creates better scavenging will aid in adding power.

The general rule is 4-1 picks up from 4000 revs and up (at least it does in my N/T) and a 4-2-1 (due to better tuning) will come in between 500-1000 revs below that.

To be conservative a header and intake will add 20HP together, but each is somewhat hampered if the other isn't present. I have an OBX-R Header (4-1) that I bought from SSAutochrome and it certainly makes a difference above 4000 RPM, which is where these cars really come alive. I'm not disappointed in the least as I didn't expect much, if any, low end benefit.

The car certainly does breathe better through all the RPM ranges and now begs to be shifted above 6500 where it used to simply wind out (a function of improved intake and exhaust). So is the low end thing bull regarding that header? Yup, but it's still helpful AND it's inexpensive.
