Ever since I got the car its been making this weird ticking noise, faint at first but not its alot more frequent and loud. It comes and goes but it surfaces every once in a while. I will record the sound so I can post the file here soon but I would really like someones opinion on this plz. The worst case for me might be crankwalk and I really dont want to deal with it since I just got the car 2 months ago.

Its a loud (only on mitsu ) engine part, also called a lash adjuster. A can of Restore gets rid of most lifter tick.

is restore some type of fluid?

yup, it's a type of additive you can get for pretty cheap over at Autozone, make sure to buy stuff for an oil change, after you use it, you'll need to do one.
