There's a weird noise coming from the rear passenger side. It's kind of a metal to metal rubbing noise. The noise increases at higher speeds. However, it isn't constant. Sometimes it stays there and sometimes it goes away. You can tell that it has something to do with the brakes. If I apply the brakes the sound changes pitch. The noise goes completly away if I get to a complete stop. It appears randomly. Sometimes it appears while I'm driving and other times it appears while I'm turning.
What could be the problem? My wheel bearing, my cv joints, rubbing caliper....?

I might also add that there's been a poping noise coming from the rear passenger wheel for the past couple of months if I drive over a speed bump or a pot hole.

Does it look like the rotor is hitting the caliper?

Sometimes if your wheel bearing is going out and gets bad enough it will allow enough play for the rotor to wobble and hit the caliper or lightly scrap it.

Jack the car up with the wheel on and try to adjust the camber of that wheel, if theres any more than just slight slight play then find out where it is exactly shaking. If its coming directly from the wheel its more than likely the wheel bearing.

If thats the case, stop driving the car, it can seperate and guess what, your wheel will fall off.

The popping your experiencing could be something rubbing and hitting when the added force is applied. Also could be a ball joint. Inspect the boots, if they are ripped, the ball joint could of possibly dried out and will eventually pop out, so stop driving if thats the case.

I know this may sound a little odd but have you lowered the car? If so, the top 14 nut on the strut may not be all the way tight, I didnt have mine fully tightened and whenever I went over a bump it would make a little popping noise, but its probably not that

Same thing happened to me today after I changed my a Control arm on the front driver side. I suspect the rim is scraping against the brakes, I have no idea how im gonna fix this problem now.

just because it changes pitch when you brake doesnt necessarily mean it is a brake issue. it may just be a speed sensitive problem. if it makes noise when you make a left turn it may me a bad outer cv joint on the passenger side. if it gets louder as you accelerate, it may be a bad inner cv joint. as stated above, id jack the car up and check the boots to make sure they are holding proper lubrication. you car also stand on the side of the wheel while its jacked up and put one hand on the top and bottom of the wheel and push/pull it in and out (towards and away from you) to check your bearings. i would rule out a ball joint seeing as how you said its a metal grinding sound.

does the sound LAST or is it sort of a half second chirp?

my diag would be a bad halfshaft or bearing on the passenger side

I'm running Eibach Pro Kit springs with Tokico shocks.

The sound lasts.

I raised the car up yesterday and inspected the rear passenger wheel. I tried to move it to see if there's any play but there wasn't. I then removed the wheel to inspect the rotor, bearing and what not. I couldn't see anything wrong. I did however notice that my brake pads are worn. I put the wheel back on and as I was tightening the lug nuts the rotor moved a little making that kind of metal to metal grinding noise.

Do you notice any marks on your rotors? Does it look like the rotor is hitting the caliper? Could be bearing, or bent suspension arm.

Also, um, brake pads get low, and they have this warning indicator that scrapes your brakes, just make sure its not that

well its kinda hard to diag the issue any further since im not there in person. if you can start with the process of elimination then that may help you the most. you can always post on here again if you need more help!
