loud rattling,ludding from under car

i've jacked my car up from the control arms,and frame trying to pinpoint where all the noise is coming from and can find no shaking ,sqeaking or anything.it sounds like the front of the car is coming out from underneath it.please help.or could the struts just be bad?

Struts may be bad, does it get worse when the roads get rougher? Did you check your exhaust, if you have a hanger broken or a rubber mount in there missing/bad whatever your exhaust could be slaping around under there.

could be a really loose heat shield
