When i start the car at periodic times throughout the day i hear a loud crack noise very quickly and then the car stuggles for a second and then starts fine. The car drives perfectly normal after i start it up, well other than the bad turbo.
The noise usually doesnt happen on the first start of the day, but it has once. It also doesnt happen if i turn the car off and then start it up 10 minutes later. If i let it sit for an hour after driving though then the noise is usually apparent. Once in awhile after the cracking noise it will take quite alot of cranking to get goin, but usually it immediatly starts up.
I replaced the started 3 months ago.
I really dont know where to start looking so any help is appreciated. And believe me ive searched. Oh and this has only been happening for about 2 weeks.

(The noise sounds like it may be coming from the crank shaft area, but its really hard to be sure, im gunna have my dad stand outside the car as much as i can on random start ups)
