loss of power

hey guys ive got a 90 talon tsi. built motor and an off brand gt30r turbo. Ive been having a huge power loss. i noticed that my my valve cover is cracked and leaking oil when im boosting. Would that be causing my power loss????

With mods comes the need to tune. We need some details of the setup and maybe history from what has been done since it has been at a loss for power. BTW the valve cover is most likely NOT the culprit but still a good idea to swap out.

ok so i updated my profile so i hope this can help. It seems that the loss of power happened after i put the tial wastegate on. I replaced the wastegate because i had an off brand ebay one that got stuck open. The wastegate is dumped into the exhaust. im also running a bpr7es plugs. Should i be running colder plugs with this size turbo? im running about 20psi.
