So my car is accelarating really slow with slow spool up. I changed the spark plugs and wires and checked for boost leaks. While checking for boost leaks I noticed that one of the hoses that connects to the intake tube is disconnected at the other end. The nipple on the air tube is the second one from the filter on the engine side (away from radiator). Any one have any idea where it plugs into on the other end? Also when I changed the spark plugs car smells a lot like gas. Bought the plugs at the Mitsu dealer and the guy said they were pregapped. Anyone have any idea what can be causing all the above issues? Any help will be appreciated.
 
Don't trust pre-gapped plugs, buy a plug gapper, they're like a dollar. One of those hoses goes to the valve cover, one goes to the BCS, and I think there is a third that goes to the charcoal canister. Fix that, and check for boost leaks again.
 
kind of a dumb question on my end but how do you gap a spar plug with 2 ground electrodes. These plugs come with on electorde on each end. Also where is the charcol canister at?

Ah, they gave you the BPR6EKN plugs, you can't gap them. Well technically you can with a wire gauge, but I'd just leave um, they'll be fine. Most people opt for the NGK BPR6ES plugs, with the single electrode. The charcoal canister is located under the battery, it's a big cylinder looking thing.
