Can’t figure out where this wire goes and I think it has something to do with my spark issue

Thats looks like this guy here. This prevents the radio from getting feed back from the engine revs. It grounds on the manifold. Is the clip behind your finger attatched to that wire?I touched mine once and blew the ignition fuse. I would check to see if that is blown. It should be in the engine bay fuse box and its a pink 30amp fuse next to the radiator fan 30amp.

That open wire might have touched something and popped the fuse.

Every time it grounded out it would blow the ignition fuse

If you look where mine is clipped to there is big barrel resister on the end and mounts to the manifold. This lowers the draw preventing that thing from pulling too much voltage. I don't know where to get a replacement one but if its grounded that resister has to be attached to the end of that wire.

Ok so that has nothing to do with my spark issue?

Looks like it traces back into the coils

It needs the resister attached to the other end to keep it from

It does due to you saying your fuse blows every time that wire grounds. If i misunderstood i apologize. The wire needs that resister on the end and yes it goes right into the ignition wire loom and will short out the ignition fuse every time it grounds without the resister attached.

Oh I misunderstood so where can I find one of those

Classifieds, junkyard, or random person parting a dsm out. I dont think they make them new anymore so finding one could be tricky.
So if you replace your fuse right now would the car fire up?
No I’m trying to get the car running and is getting no spark and trying to weed out my options of what it could be

I think these two plugs are backwards

I think the female ends need to be swapped.

The one further away goes to the ignition and the closer one goes to the crank position sensor.

In your picture at the beginning of the thread the plug with the blue wire with a red stripe is going to the crank sensor and that should be plugged into the ignition plug on the middle of the intake manifold.

This is how my plugs are

It's not a resistor.

This condenser (capacitor) filters noise from the ignition system keeping it from spreading on the +12v power. The wire is connected to the ignition 12v feed so it's not surprising it blows the ignition fuse when it touches any ground.

The bolt on the condenser body is the ground for the condenser and also serves as the mount.
