ok, ty. did you install the o2 part too or just the downpipe? What brand did you go with? it sounds good!

You know I don't remember if it had the stock or aftermarket o2 housing at that time or not. Getting rid of the cat made the difference especially WOT.
That was just a old eBay set up 2.5" to 3" downpipe to 3" catback

The 2g 02 housing is just fine to make moderate power, it's an upgrade to the 1g, port it to gasket match and it'll flow even better and keep its durability of cast iron.

ok, so getting an aftermarket one is overkill then.. do you need a tune for cat deletes and downpipes?

My old gst and current gsx both run just fine on the factory tune with full exhaust.
