I'm looking to buy a new turbo manifold, 650 injectors and an AFPR but i'm not sure which ones to get. I'm not looking to spend too much money and i'm not sure which brands will give me the best bang for my buck. :hellyeah: Any opinions would be great especially if you've had experience with the brands you suggest. :D

A big part of your choice will also have to rely on this question, is this car your DD or just like a track car/weekend warrior?

Reason i bring that up, you dont want to run a tubulat manifold if your using it as a daily driver. If you are, go with a stock 2g or evo 3 exhaust manifold in good condition.

Injectors, check the classifieds here. If nothing turns up, check out MAperformance and if you get desperate, try ebay. Only thing with ebay is this, make sure you are buying a real true name brand, and if you buy used then try not to get scammed by running bad injectors and damaging your engine.

AFPR, ebay has them cheap, but theyre not that accurate. This is another area where you want to buy a name brand proven unit that you know will work.

Fuel is important, dont skimp on these products.

2g/Evo3 manfold - $100
650cc Injectors - $280
Adjustable FPR - $150
^all estimates but it will give you an idea.

Im guessing you have a 255, thats why you need the afpr, with a stock pump it wont do you any good.
Im also hoping that you have a way to tune after you install, at least an SAFC maybe.

ok thanks a lot man...yea i have an AFC Neo but i'm having trouble opening the links on the Apexi website to view the installation guide and the wiring diagram. Any idea where i can find these other than the Apexi website for a 1g? And yea i do have a 255 already installed :hellyeah:

also, what are some name brand injectors? this is my first time upgrading fuel on my dsm so i'm not sure which brands are good.

thanks a lot for all the help man...yea i searched on here but all i keep coming up with is the installation and wiring for a 2g but nothing for a 1g for some reason...idk

well I will add that if you plan on ever going bigger with a turbo say a 50 trim or bigger you are gonna need to get bigger injectors than the 650s to get the most out of it safely. Another big equation on here is that you are gonna have a hard time to get those 650s right with a afc. Ecmlink is a great tuning tool allowing you to run whatever reasonalbe sized injectors fairly easy. Ways around spending that kind of loot on link you could always look into chipping your ecu. Different routes to go there, but as the previous person stated DO NOT SKIMP ON FUEL PARTS. If you like getting things as cheap as possible well dont do it with your fuel. And I am going to say FP mani is awesome. Not much more expensive than the others metioned. I run one and love it.
