Take it your located down the delisle/ pike lake secondary highway? I'd definitely be interested in some parts. How much you looking for that 16g? Exhaust manifold any good?

I live a few blocks away from you haha grew up with AJ. What are you looking for, don't have a 16g besides the one on my other talon just an install kit from before my fmic set up. Yes I believe the manifold is crack free same with the o2 housing.

I ment delisle area but I have seen you a couple times from a far. I should have enought money this check to order all the parts I need to finish putting my dsm together......stupid 7 bolt.

What time is SIR open sunday? I might be able to swing by and watch you make a few runs.
 
Well guys I'm finally up and running!! Last night was the first start up, and I'm glad to say everything with the engine sounds and appears to be reading good. I do have a lot of problems with other stuff tho. Head and taillights come on instantly when the ignitions on, have no dash lights or wipers functions, no heater motor fuction and my starter doesn't turn the motor over %50 of the time. Ive done a little digging which points towards a ground issue so im going to start with that. And lastly I can only get the tranny into 2, 4, Reverse. I'm thinking its because I have I have a n/t shifter base bolted in.......I'm hoping that's the problem as when the shifters supposed to neutral its actually in gear, caught me totally off gaurd the first time.

Decided since I saw this post, I'd show my face to the other Sask owners for the first official time.

I have a spare tranny from when I picked my car up earlier this fall, but it's got no second and I'm planning on possibly rebiilding it sometime for when/if I go bigger...

Just got mine back on the road after having a way too close call with my timing belt deciding my intake cam should become self adjusting and needed to be advanced two teeth... but I bent no valves :thumb:
 
Unfortunately it seems AWD transmissions are at a premium in this province.
 
Yeah you will have more luck looking in alberta for a spare transmission.

I could use a few spares too if people find them.
 
Shucks I was really hoping people would have a lead for me. Fast orange has one he was supposed to be pulling out of his parts car but I haven heard nothing from him of late. I actually have been creeping alberta as I'm going there in december but nothings popped up as of yet.

@mike- I've been meaning to arrange a meet to give you back your clutch tool but have been crazy busy. If you get a free moment next weekend send me a text.

If I'm able to get the one from fast-orange I'll technically have 3 awd trans (the one with a blown first, the other is unknown) , so I'd be willing to sell someone the tran I currently have installed for cheap as then you know what's wrong no guessing.
 
I am currently looking to sell a brand new bushwaker stage 1 trans built by Buscher racing. I aswell have two 21 spline t-cases I initially bought for a build. If anyone is interested send me a PM.

What's the price on said transmission? I've been replying to kijiji adds in edmonton and calgary looking for a tran LOL. My plans might have to be put on hold though because a smoked a deer this morning with the dd when I was on the way to work.
 
Sadly not no, its getting fixed. Either way I'd be losing money on it so it doesnt really matter to me much. If anyone wants a 2010 golf tdi let me know haha

I did tear down my spare tran tho and everything checked out nicely so brandon was being honest when he said it worked fine. Just working on putting it back together, now just gotta find a shop I can use to do the swap then I can start driving the talon and sell the stupid dub LOL.
 
The 2000gtx's are actually fairly common vehicles, I have A friend currently with two aswell I haveseen another out at a scrap yard in the city. If your looking for a project I have A true jdm VR4 d27 that I would be willing to work a good deal on with fellow members.
 
Cool sask dsm thread, I just acquired mine last night! Wondering if anyone has seen it before or knows anything about it. Its white with a full body kit on white 18's. I was told it has a built engine, but this is second hand information. Good to know there are so many sask dsm'ers. I'm heading up to saskatoon for tech school in march, hopefully I'll see some of you guys driving around. I have yet to see an eclipse or talon driving around in my town. I'd be down for a meet, since I know very little about my fairly modded Eclipse.
 
Cant say ive heard of one with any mods and a body kit. Toss up some pictures though, maybe someone will know by seeing it.
 
It's not the guy from Roulou is it? Didn't he have a white n/a with a body kit?
