Looking for feedback on the jm fab forward facing manifold

Let me start by saying I'm not a newbie to the dsm world but a newb to this site.

I've been looking at forward facing turbo manifolds for my 99 gsx and came across the manifold that Jmf builds. Their website only shows you the manifold installed on a 1g car and I am curious as to what it looks like set up on a 2g. If anyone here has used their forward facing manifold on a 2g I would love to see some pics and hear some feedback on the product.

I've read a lot of reviews on the stm manifold. The jmf manifold is roughly $200 cheaper so looking to see if it's worth spending the extra money. I really like how the stm manifold sits the turbo but haven't seen how the jmf mani sits in a 2g.

Can you just crop and rotate the picture as needed onto a picture with a 2g engine bay?

I'm sure it could be done if someone knows how/ has the programs to do so.

Just to give this a update I decided to order the jmf forward facing manifold for my 2g. I guess I'll be the guinea pig for this one. I even asked jmf if they had pictures and no luck.

Will do. Says it takes 2-4 weeks to ship but I plan to keep this thread updated for other DSMers in the future.

Yea I have been looking at theirs, STMS, Sheer Fab and True Street. Most people have bought the STM one. I think the Sheer looks the best and the positions as well. But my Second choice was JMFab for price and quality.

I was leaning towards the stm manifold but the price of the jmf is too good to pass up. And the quality of the parts I have seen from jmf always look great.

I have been wanting to do a Forward facing manifold for a while now. I have just had this worry in the back of my head, regarding heat and cooling. Im not sold that a half Rad is enough cooling for these cars.

Evos have it better because their bumper design had a grill built into it. We don't have that area available. I would really like more info on people who have done the FF kit what are they doing about cooling?

Anyways this is the manifold I have wanted. I just don't like the price point.

I also had a concern about cooling issues but I ran my car last summer with a half size aluminum civic radiator and never had any over heating. Given my car also isn't a daily driver so I kinda pick and choose what days to drive it and normally sits on hot days since I removed the a/c.

Mine is the same way but I still worry about those moment when having some fun runs or waiting in line to park at a show it will over heat.

Update: I received the jmf forward facing manifold today. So far very pleased all the welds look phenomenal and all the machine work for the flanges and bolt treads look amazing I will follow this post up with pictures tomorrow as I plan to install it

Looks amazing. Just wish the turbo would face more forward toward the bumper then tuck behind the headlight. I have a bumper vent that I would want to see more of the turbo through.

Regardless looks great.
