I need a new transfer case... all the fluid leaked out of mine and when i flushed it, many, big chunks of metal came out of the fluid and the gears are making a whining noice. should i get it rebuilt or just buy a used or new one?

I don't want to have to replace it again later.. my goal is a 400whp daily driver.

Mods include:

14B @ 15PSI ATC2600 Street
intake, 3" cat back, MBC, UICP, 1G BOV

all minor stuff until the big things go in. i want the drive train (as we all know the weakest part of a DSM) to be build enough to hold 400WHP consistantly... The tranny will be rebuilt by Shep when it goes.. semi/full race rebuild.

lemme know if you guys know where i can get a transfercase new or rebuilt! thanks

T-cases are all OVER the place. They can be had so cheap. Just search on that site and look around.

No. I know you can't use a 90 or most 91's because they are 22 spline compared to 23 in yours. But I am pretty sure it would have to be out of a 95+.

damn.. well it looks like it's back to searching. thanks dude!
