Lookin to put new motor in 98 eclipse

HI i am lookin for some info on a good motor to put in my eclipse. I would love to put it to a turbo because right now its a bone stock 98 gs. If someone could give me some info that would be great

There are turbo kits for the 420a engine thats in your car but there are not really any engine swaps you can do.

Yup, unfortunately this isnt as easy as the Honda world where you can just throw in a "Better" engine.
Here it is basically " You can swap any thing if you have the money.
Some have Done the 4g63T from the Turbo DSMs, others have done 4G63 from the Evo, SRT4, and even V8.
Best thing you can do is
1)Keep current engine (Or replace with another 420 if blown) and turbo it
2)Sell the car and buy a Turbo model.

Why, in the twenty years that DSMs have been around, hasn't anyone thought to ask this before?
