Lookin for some one to tune or help me tune my talon

I am new to the dsm world this is my first. but i am not new to the turbo and supercharger world. my car is set up for dsmlink and i have the program and laptop. I live in the tri-cities WA (richland,pasco,kenniwick) i just need help with the tune the car runs and drives and has no overheating problems.

yea i tryed to play with the dsmlink. its nice and seems kind of easy but my car has a lot of money in to it and i dont want to screw it up. ive tuned hondas with crome and hondata and chevys and some stangs but not with the dsm. i just want some one with the exp to help me out.
i have the print out with the tune and dyno at 539awhp and 449awft i actally just got the car last week

So you're looking for someone in person to do it vs. people on the forums? If you post up in the DSMlink forums, Tom and Dave will probably help you out (makers of DSMlink). I'd think that'd be enough experience for you

There are plenty people on here with a lot of experience, me included. But if you don't trust the forums, that's fine. I would have to say it's pretty hard to screw anything up unless you go making really big changes.

But after looking at your mod list, you're missing one big component for tuning - a wideband sensor.

yeah i was going to use the wide band off of my turbo2 rx7 but i am just going to order one this week. yea i still need to learn how to post up my stuff and use it. i dont have a clue where to start.

To post up a log:

Click "Go Advanced" below the Post Reply box.

is there a place to learn how to use dsmlink??? yea this is the only car with out one. it has a lot or recipts form duscher racing and a lot of work done bye them. its very fast and runs great. its jsut that the guy that owned it let the battery die and now it has no tune and it was going form high boost to 22psi.

Since you have the GM MAFT you can actually log MAP and IAT but the two I would definitely recommend logging is WB and MAP, tuning is much easier when your not flying blind .

For A second I thought you were in renton washing, so close...

try to get a hold of the seller or 'buschur' or whomever did the tuning and see if they still have the recent tuning file. you might lucky

well there is a couple diffrent tunes on the laptop that i got with the car. I was looking at one that was posted with the dyno. 539awhp 449ftq the others i think are track runs
