Looks good huh. :) Thats what it looks like when I stir it. Looks pretty normal when not stirred around though. To me it looks like coolant or water in my oil but I drained the escorts oil and it was similair just thicker (non-synthetic) and alot diterier. Maybe oil looks like this when stired? Or is this what coolant in your oil looks like. I'm newbish.

This is Mobile 1 Synthetic 15W-50 ... 100 miles

A couple other local DSMers run 15W-50.

What should I run? I use to run 10W-30.

There isnt anything wrong with running 15/50 mobil 1. I do. My motor has 211,455 miles on it with 135 avg on compression test and its the best thing My car would run on. I tried strait 30wt once. The turbo liked it alot. The motor was a damn dog. I couldnt get any power out of it.

factory specs are always best, car came with 10w30 from mitsu so unless its a full race motor id stick with that

I can't tell any thing from the pics but gas in the oil is not completly uncommon. Do you drive it short distances a lot without it getting warmed up. If you do this it runs rich when it's cold plus the tolerances are a little off allowing some gas into the oil, If you get it warmed up and run it out sometimes the gas will evaporate and dissapate.
How's it run? If you do warm it up and run it out and it still does that you could have an injector spraying way too much fuel, or perhaps low compression. Either way you should feel it when driving the car.
A little gas in the oil can be okay but too much or too long can deffinately be bad.
How old is the oil?

If you have enough coolant in your oil when you pull the dipstick it will look like you dipped it in a milkshake,I dont think you have anything to worry about.
