longer exhaust manifold studs

anyone know where I can get them for a good price and good quality? I'm using a spacer plate between my mani and the head so I need them about 1/2" longer than stock.

Use mitsubishi montero manifold studs. As for a spacer plate get an exhaust manifold flange and 2 gaskets. Whah lah! Instant manifold extension.

I also need longer exhaust manifold studs. What year/engine of Montero would the studs be made for? I'll be getting these from a dealer and these are the first 2 questions they ask.

I know this thread is long and dead but I also need an answer to this question. I will be running a 1/2 in. spacer on my FP manifold. So I will need 1/2 in. longer studs to fit the setup. I've look through most of the vendors and have not found anything. Ive tried to find more info on the Montero studs but I haven't found much. Anybody with first hand experience I'd like to hear what you did. Thanks for the help.

A local around here found a pack of longer studs at the Auto Zone/Advance Auto store. Check with them.

ARP makes the stainless studs like from ffwd. I have 2 sets of these and love them. Anyway, they have more than just the stock dsm lengths that are already in production aka still off the shelf and not custom, you could give them a call.

And they really are a great product. I've had my turbo off 3 times and not only have they not broken; they clean up and look like new, and I run 35psi all day (e85 on my DD)
