Hi all, I just got a new 1g turbo and it runs great but it takes like 4-5 seconds of cranking every time I want to start the car, sometimes less if the car had been running previously. I changed my plugs and wires since i got the car already so its not that. could it be a fuel thing? because if i stop cranking after like 4 seconds then crank it again it will turn over right away.

Could be a fuel delivery problem. Perhaps start with replacing the fuel filter (in my opinion, the most overlooked filter on a car).
Also, when you put in the new plugs, are you certain that you gapped them correctly?

OK ill try the Filter, and yea I did gap em right, the car had the cranking problem before I switched the wires and plugs also though.
