2G Locked glove compartment

My glovebox got jammed. All my car documents are locked. My key worked to lock it but not to unlock. Do you have any ideea how can I open it without destroying it?

Jammed how? Like jammed full?

Did you try putting pressure on the glovebox while keying in and turning with a little wiggle?

Otherwise Amazon lock pick set would probably do it.

The one in my Galant has to be jiggled a bit to unlock it. I have three different keys which are the original, a locksmith cut, and a Walmart cut. No issues with locking the box but I always have to mess with it for a minute to unlock

I have that problem too. The buttons dont push in right? My mechanism got jammed somehow and is in a perpetual state of being locked.

The key wears over time, so it's difficult to get it to line up correctly to unlock it. I try all the keys I have, and push the key in slightly, try to twist it, pull it back slightly, try, try, and try again, and eventually it (usually) opens. It usually takes a lot of tries and a lot of patience.

Managed to open it with the key. Some papers got stuck on the side of the locking mechanism. Thank you all for your answers!
