Limitations of Hacked 1G Mas?

Anyne know the limitations of a hacked 1g mas? Im wondering if its possible to hit mid 12s on race gas with a 16g, using a hacked 1g mas. By hacked i mean, removed lower honeycomb.

Why not get a 2g MAF? With the MAF Translator out now, theres an abundance of them for sale.. Seems to be the easier route
